My dream wedding.I actually don't know what to write about...Seriously,I don't.I guess I have never given this much thought cause I know it won't happen in like another 14 years or so.And besides most of the wedding arrangements really depends on who you are marrying.

Actually,I don't really mind the wedding details.Just let me choose the wedding venue.Haha.The rest of it...we'll just have to see,won't we?

Isn't he adorable???Look at those eyes...Awwww.I can't say anymore about this little fellow since I haven't met him yet.But once I get him,you're all welcomed to visit.Although I did hear that this guy's Dad is real fierce.Haha.

Day 5-How Important is Education?

In two words,very important.Since I was small,the statement "No compromise in studies" was drilled into my head.You've probably heard a lot of debates that education ALONE is not enough in a career.That's true...but is education crucial?Definitely yes.

Of course I don't mean only mean academic knowledge.We learn practically every day of our lives.And every type of education that we get is reflected by our mind and character.It doesn't matter where you are studying.Everything you learn will serve a purpose later on.Knowledge,after all, is the most powerful thing a person can acquire.

Education makes people easy to lead, but difficult to drive; easy to govern, but impossible to enslave.

Day 4-Your Favourite Photograph of Your Best Friends

Pardon me for publishing this blog post for almost 2 days late.I am actually having an infection in BOTH ears.See,having an infection in both ears can be pretty pathetic.First off,it hurts terribly and you can't sleep on either sides.Another reason is that you can actually feel as if there's pressure building up in both ears and for a moment there I actually thought my eardrums are going to explode.I've been to the ENT specialist.This really ~~hot and kind hearted~~ specialist told me that it's just a minor infection and it's pretty harmless.Just that he forgot to mention it'll hurt like a son of a b***h.But,no big deal...~~That smile he had made up for the pain.~~

Back to the blogging challenge...Your favourite photograph of you best friends.I've got a few here and all of them are from Facebook since I haven't had my external hard drive repaired yet.

These are my best high school friends.High school was crazy fun and amazing.I remember all those late night studying,cracking our heads to figure out what's gonna come out for SPM essay,writing numerous letters just to skip meetings,walking around Kajang with absolutely nothing to do and laughing over things that didn't even make sense.Gosh,I miss school.Especially the last 2 years where I really bonded with these people.

And then I went through another transition...I met my YES '10 family.What started out with akward hi's suddenly turned to really amazing moments.Its quite surreal that how we could connect over a period of one year and everytime we meet each other,its always greeted with a hug.These are the people who I could talk about my experience in the States again and again.We went on this journey together.And I'm so glad that we did.

Next,meet this quirky Egyptian girl who is also a cheerleader and my best friend in Pipestone.We would spend days walking around Pipestone and talking about oh-so-many things.She never failed to make me laugh and she is such an amazing friend.She's now in Egypt and I pray to God that she's all right.

Last but defiitely not least are my Edgerton mates.I have to admit that I was feeling kinda lost at first and quiet in school.But when I started to open up,I discovered wonderful American friendships.From the time in softball to prom and our class trip,I've had great times and great laughs.I was constantly teased because of my accent.They claim that I have a weird accent.Haha.And I miss all of you guys so so much.:)

Day 3-Your Idea of the perfect first date

Hmmmm...my idea of a perfect first date.I didn't actually gave much thought about it.I mean,I think my on my first date,I'll be like awfully quiet,laughing only when necessary and nodding my head most of the time,listening to that"lucky guy" talk.Haha!Well,hopefully it doesn't go THAT bad.

But I think a first date should start with a movie,so that you'd get used to being around each other.I mean,you can't just meet for the first few minutes and straight away ask,"So,do you wanna have kids?"When you're in a movie,you can like laugh together and things wouldn't be so awkward.

Usually in movies,after watching a movie the guy brings the girl to like a fancy restaurant,pull out a chair for her,order the wine and if there's chemistry,they'll end up chewing on the same Spaghetti strand like Lady and the Tramp.

Hopefully he doesn't take me to dinner in a fancy schmancy restaurant.Because,I'd probably order the smallest salad dish and chew the vegetables as I smile and elegantly laugh at his jokes.After I'm done,I would still be starving but would convincingly say that,"I'm stuffed."After the date,I'd be too busy trying to look for something to eat than think about the next date.
So,taking me to dinner on a first date...not a good idea.Maybe going to like Mcdonalds is okay.Nobody judges at Mcdonalds.Haha!

When I went to Gold Coast at the age of 12,we stayed in a hotel near the beach.And one of those days had a full moon and we were walking back from the bus stop.And I saw this couple walking on the beach,holding hands and like you know talking and I was like,"Wow,that's so so romantic."I mean,its nice just to talk on a first date.

And it would be nice to like walk on a forest path and talk and get to know each other more.

Yeah,my idea of a perfect date is kinda simple.I don't expect fancy or expensive.I just want to get to know whoever you are.:)

Day 2-Your Favourite Movie

Day numero 2 will be about movies.I watch loads and loads of movies but I'm a sucker for horror movies.I just love that anticipation to find out what happens next.What's even better?The cliff-hanging endings some horror movies have that cause sleepless nights for me,as I try to figure out what would have happened. Anyhows, here is my Top 15 Movie List in no particular order

Top 15 Movies Lord of the Rings Trilogy
This is the one movie that can immediately lift my spirits up when I'm having a bad day.It's got everything I like:magic,nature,amazing characters and most importantly a message that echoes through the three movies-"There is always hope."

The Exorcist
One of the best horror movies of all time.My dad watched it in 1979 and I remember him telling me that when this movie was released,there were many reports of hysteria in cinemas worldwide.Watch the Director's Cut version and see the creepy spider walk.

Letters to Juliet
I watched this and immediately fell in love.One of the few movies that make you go...,"Awww."

The Lion King
To those of you this movie is lame or stupid,I say you've gone bonkers.The best Disney movie and I practically grew up to Lion King.I'd always thought of my Dad as Mufassa.Haha!

Pokkiri
Best.Vijay.movie.Hands down.Fighting scenes was awesome,Vijay's style was brilliant and the movie was just hilarious!
Pirates of The Carribean Trilogy
So,I don't know how the fourth movie would turn out but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.Anyway,the first three movies was simply awesome and Captain Jack Sparrow is the best pirate on screen!Arrr!

The Omen
666 and The Antichrist.What more can I say?This movie literally gave me the chills.I think the best part was when they dug up Damien's "mother's" grave only to discover the bones of a jackal. P/S:Don;t bother watching the 2006 one because it isn't any good.

Armegeddon
This movie always made me cry.Always.An amazing love story with the ultimate sacrifice of a father.Plus the "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' soundtrack by Aerosmith made this movie amazing.

27 Dresses
Oh,I just love this movie!The cynical plus hopeless romantic thing is a cliche but when Katherine Hiegl does it,its just absolutely lovely!

The Blair Witch Project
I remember watching this movie on the eve of Deepavalli and this movie is pretty good.You don't meet possessed people,demons or the Satan,instead you face gruesome things left behind by some supernatural force.This movie appeals to many people as we're forced to face our biggest fear:the fear of the

unknown. Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham
Those who watched this move will get what I mean.And plus,there's Hirthik Roshan.Those eyes.Nuff' said.

Harry Potter Saga
I have to admit that some movies wasn't as good.But overall,Harry Potter is like a saga like no other.I bet I can find millions who would rather go to Hogwarts and play Quidditch.Wouldn't you?

Home Alone series
Actually I only like the first up to the third movie.Saw a bit of the fourth movie and thought it was really,really lame.I think this is like the best Christmas movies!

Princess Diaries
I could never get bored of this movie.Its a pretty awesome chick flick movie and has a brilliant soundtrack.

Padayappa
In my opinion,this is the best movie by superstar Rajinikanth.Enthiran may be the highest-grossed Tamil film but Padayappa is a classic.

Another Day In Paradise

I was clearing my e-mail inbox when I found this email from a friend of mine.

This picture was taken by photographer Kevin Carter during the 1994 Sudan famine.This photograph won the Pulitzer Award .This child has to crawl to a United Nations food camp located a kilometer away.The vulture is waiting for this child to die so that it could eat the child.This photo shook the whole world.Numerous phone calls and letters came in asking about the child.It was said that the child managed to reach the food camp but the ultimate fate of the child is unknown.Three months after the photo was taken Kevin Carter committed suicide from depression.

These were his last words:

"I'm really, really sorry.The pain of life overrides the joy to the point that joy does not exist."

This picture has struck millions of people and the whole world wept when they saw this.If you read,some people say that the reason there's suffering like this, is because those people are paying for their past karma,wrongdoings that they did during their past lives.Some people may say that there has to be suffering as some sort of balance in the world.While some sadists say that sufferings are necessary to determine the strongest,the survival of the fittest.

Now,I don't know why people suffer.I don't know why there would be such poverty.But what I do know is that if the child looks at you and me,all she sees is paradise.Our imperfect life,the one we keep complaining about every single day is probably the life she dreams about every night.

For a moment. just think about what's going on out there.For one moment,forget the fact that you have work or that your social life isn't good enough and just imagine what this child would have gone through.Just think about those people out there that are suffering.Don't you think that your problems are NOTHING compared to what they have to go through just to survive?

If you think your life is pathetic,what about theirs?
If you think your problems are depressing,what about theirs?

The next time you go to the sleep and lament about the fact that you have to go to school or go to work or maybe complain that you have to deal with your relationship problems the next day,just remember that the last thought those people have before they go to sleep, is whether they would be alive the next day.

For the Love of German Shepherds

So,I'm in pursuit of getting a dog.As most of you know,I'm this huge huge dog lover and I even volunteer in SPCA just so that I could be around dogs.I had to persuade my dad who also worked on Sundays not to go to work just so that he could send me to Ampang.My dad loves dogs to as he has like a few dogs when he was younger.I love dogs,my dad loves them too and I'm responsible enough to take care of one...What's the problem you ask?

Two words :My Mother.

Yes,she is the main reason I can't get a dog all this while.She doesn't like dogs and claims that they smell.Okay,here's the thing.You bathe the dogs so that they don't smell.And if you really hate dogs,don't go near them.And dogs are very smart,they know that when a person doesn't entertain them,they back off.They wouldn't bother you. Unlike some ignorant who doesn't understand the meaning of "I'm not interested in you.So,please leave me alone."

Anyway,I have absolutely don't have any problem if you don't like dogs but the whole family absolutely adores dogs.So,you'll probably have a little nuisance while its a puppy...but tell me,didn't you deal with all our non-sense when we're growing up?A dog doesn't need you to tell it bedtime stories until its like 5 years old or expect you to deal with teenage mood swings.
Not that I would mind reading stories to my future dog.

My argument aside, didn't you hear crime rates going up in our neighborhood?I'm pretty sure I can get the dog trained to rip the throat of any unwanted "pests" trying to get into our house.Sorry, for the violent comment.My point is...A DOG IS NECESSARY.

Actually,I was leaning to get a German Shepard of this colour but I rather take the one below.

This colour isn't as common as the gold-black one but it's still a beautiful dog.

A puppy!German Shepard puppies have like those hanging ears but it straightens as it gets older
One of the ways you can identify a German Shepard is its hind legs.

I'm not claiming to know a lot about this breed.But I've been around German Shepherds since I was a kid.My uncle had an amazing German Shepard called "Ming Ko".He was a handsome dog.He also had two Rottweilers.The first one he had was an adult dog and he was fierce as hell.Whenever we lay a finger on my uncle,that dog would snarl at us.So,this vet visited the house and was putting his arm on my uncle's shoulders.And this dog was tied with a metal leash.The dog was so angry that it pulled the leash and tried to bite the vet.My uncle had to like restrain the dog and coax it.When the dog broke the leash,he had a fracture in his hind leg...But I never got close to that dog.
But my uncle did get another Rottweiler and he was like 2 months old when he came to us.I was like 10.And he was amazing and very close to the family.He would often steal my socks and hid it in his kennel so that I wouldn't have to go to school.Hahaha.Ming Ko and Max were amazing dogs.

And yeah,I did own like two dogs before.One was a Rottweiler.It was actually a anniversary gift from my uncle who decided to get the dog cause he knew how much my Mum hated dogs.Haha!But I didn;t spend much time with that dog cause the dog had to be put to sleep cause it was sick.The next dog was Bruno boy.A white Lab who is always on the verge of running out of the house to dig holes in the ground.If you have seen "Marley and Me",that's exactly how Bruno was like.Mischievous and always finding a way to make a mess.He was adorable though.He was with us for a few months and we had to send him to SPCA cause our maid didn;t like that dog.It was a stupid decision.I never forgave that maid for causing this.Last I heard,Bruno got adopted a week after we left him.

So yeah,if I'm looking for a male German Shepherds preferably one which is around 2 months old.If you know any breeders,just give me a shout-out.

Dreams and Promises

Have you ever wanted something so bad that you are willing to do anything it takes to get it? Every time you think about it your heart beats so fast thinking how it's gonna be once your dreams come true and at the same time your heart hurts so bad because you can't bear to imagine how bleak your days will be if it doesn't come true?Have you dreamed about that every single night that you wake up remembering every vivid detail of it and find yourself despondent only to find out that it was just a dream?

It's a whirlwind of emotions.And the most powerful ones combined giving you the desire, the drive and that resolution to reach for your dreams.Sometimes these emotions serve a great kills once you realize that your dreams did not come true.

There has only been two times where I have felt this way.And those two times wasn't even when I was thinking of SPM.I don't know why I didn't feel that much about SPM, as getting my SPM results is the zenith of my life.And during those two times when I felt this way,those 2 goals did come true.I remember crying for those two goals,I remember being almost obsessive that when I realized that one of that goals might not come true,I couldn't speak to anyone.It was like I lost a part of me and there was no point going on.Believe me,I do not exaggerate.People say I'm passionate,which is absolutely true.But sometimes when the passion goes the wrong way,it can be self-destructive.

Now that I'm feeling it again,oh how I'm praying that it comes true.This is probably the biggest I have dreamed of.I know they say no dreams are too big.But this is seriously the biggest,most promising goal I have to undertake.After this,there would be more hurdles.More obstacles.And after all that comes true,I 'll find responsibilities and then I'll enter a world where I realize that my life no longer revolves around me.I will meet people I never thought I will meet.Out of that many people some will touch my heart and some others,I wished I could have done something more. This is an altruistic path. Is it going to be easy?No. Is it going to drain me physically and mentally?Yes. But ten years from now,I'll look back say,

This may be the hardest choice I have taken,but it was worth it.Every time I see someone smile,I know that I have done something to give them that glimpse of hope and that ray of happiness.I know that I have made a difference.

Regrets

At times,when I see my friends fail,I tell them,"It's okay.You'll do great the next time.This means you're one step closer to success." But yet,when I am caught in the same exact situation,I refuse to accept that fact.I look at failure as the inevitable,something that is ossified.And then I blame myself.Me not being good enough,me not doing it well.People surrounding me said that,"It's not big of a deal.Everything is gonna be okay."

Fact is,It is that BIG of a deal for me.As of right now,nothing seems okay.I know you're just trying to encourage me but just put yourself in my shoes for just a minute and you'll feel the exact same thing that I am feeling.Sometimes when you advice someone,the same rule doesn't apply to you.

Time and time again,I replayed the whole scene in my mind scrutinating every detail,wondering what did I do wrong.And there were plenty of chances where I could have passed it, but I guess fear gets the better out of you. It doesn't get easier.Amongst the encouragement,you get criticism.You hear this person repeteadly asking why and how could you have failed?You can see it in their eyes,the anger,the dissapoinment that seems to be growing stronger everytime they look at you.

To tell you the truth,I am sick of being told that I'm not good.I'm sick of being told that every mistake that I make shows that getting worse.Words don't easily break me. But imagine being told again and again by this total stranger whom I am supposed to respect.Truth is you don't deserve any respect.You're judgmental and that is the one thing I hate about you.You never made things easy and for that I don't think I should give you any respect.

I just want this to be over.

The American Dream-Part 1

My sincere apologies for not posting anything for the past...let me see...9 months. I had absolutely no time to blog while I was in the US although I was like a slug throughout the summer.And I couldn't post anything once I was back in Malaysia,well because I was suffering from reverse culture shock.Yes,it does happen. In my case, I was rather withdrawn at the most peculiar times and constantly ranted about Minnesota,my host family,my amazing high school,my first softball hit and the tan line on my feet. And it didn't help that when I reached home after 6 months,practically the whole house looks different. See, my parents did this huge renovation and the house looks really different now.I was like,"Where is our house?" and my mum didn't expect me to react that way and replied"Don't you like it?" I found myself searching for words to express how I really felt, bearing in mind not to offend any of them.While I was gone for 6 months, I missed a huge part of my life here in Kajang. My family members seemed....different. And I'm not used to that. My friends have moved on, busy with college and I'm stuck here in between transition. I feel like those deal souls who are just waiting to see the "light" so that they could move on. Really melancholic,I know. While I have been really excited to meet all my friends, most of them are busy with college which is rather annoying. And you can't blame me.I've got nothing to do for these past few months except study and complete essays. Anyway,I'll just do a recap on what happened in my six months stay in the US.We left on January 13th 2010. And that day was just chaotic.I still remember it vividly. I was really worried about the weight limit and my mum was nagging about how I don't keep my stuff well and I was extremely moody with everyone rushing around. I had no appetite to eat, I guess I was too nervous. We were a little late and my family was practically running towards the meeting point. And I had to hold this freaking huge coat and my hand carry was extremely heavy.Oh boy,it was a rough day.Checked in the bag and luckily, it was below the wight limit. My mum's constant nagging didn't keep me calm. I said my goodbyes, hugged my family members and I see some of my friends crying. And honestly, I did not feel like crying at all. All I just wanted to do was go past that security gate and get into the unknown. The flight was a long one. We stopped at Dubai and Heathrow and we flew with Emirates.And they're ceiling or whatever you call it, is filled with lights which creates a sort of starry effect. We transited at Dubai International Airport and that airport was very busy. KLIA is huge but Dubai is filled with people. And you see all sorts of people;they're probably from all around the world. Then we boarded into Emirates and headed on to Heathrow.My patner throughout the journey would be Hannah Chay.She makes me laugh all the time.She is one awesome girl. Anyway, we reached Heathrow about 7 hours later and there was snow!Oh wow,I've never seen snow before and I was so excited.Too bad we had to rush and I couldn't enjoy the snow. The security was tight with the bomb threats this airport faced a few weeks ago and we were only allowed one hand carry.So I had to stuff my pouch into my hand carry and as I was closing it, the bag started to rip. Yeap, I thought I was going to die.Fortunately, only a little of the bag ripped. So, yeah.And I noticed that most of the security personnel were Indians or Sri Lankans. And they asked me questios about what we were doing and all. We had to open our hand carry to let them check and I dumbly asked them if they wanna check the other compatments of my bag and they were like,"No it's okay.This device here detects everything." Talk about embarassing questions.And surprisingly this elderly security guy was like,"God Bless you.Have a safe trip to the States." We flew with United Airlines to Dulles International Airport, Washington DC.We reached at night, can't recall the exact time. Anyway,security in DC is pretty scary too. I mean you've got to take pictures and talk to the officers about why you're here and I have to admit it's pretty intimidating.An my mother insisted on making murukku for my host family and I had to declare the food I brought.And I had a tough time explaining what is it really like.The key word is "dry food".Hahaha.Anyway, Malaysia is the only country under the YES program who participates for 6 months. The other YES countries are on the 1 year program. So, we headed on to 4H Centre in DC.That's where our orientation will take place. And I am hosted under the American Cultural Exchange Service(ACES). I was pretty worn out when we were all seated in our respective group and we got to meet Sarah Phillipe.She works for ACES and she's Adrian's coordinator's daughter.She's pretty cool and really nice. After having a little introduction, we headed to bed.And it was pretty cold. Most of the snow melted but I still think it's extremely cold. The next morning, we had our breakfast and I discovered the food at the 4H Centre is absolutely delicious.How I wish my future high school would have these kinds of food. We're supposed to sit with our group leaders in our ACES group. Te rest of the day revolved around what we should expect, group discussion, talking about religion.They invited a speaker called Imam Arafat, who has been living in America and talked about how Muslims could adapt to the new surrounding. He's a really good speaker and I enjoyed listening to what he says. It sort of gave a new insight on how Muslims in the US have been practising Islam and they re not hindered from doing so. We had a lunch break and after that we decided to do some exploring around the area. So,some of us decided to start a snow fight with the so little snow around.It was pretty fun. The day went on with more discussion about the American lifestyle.And we discovered that tomorrow we're going to the Malaysian Embassy and also sightseeing around DC which is very very cool. After we were done for the day,the Crap group (Yan Rau,Jocelyn,Merryn, Kee Boon and me) decided to go to the the down floor.There's an arcade plus pool table plus this huge TV plus a few computers with WiFi. So yeah,we were talking crap as usual.After all, that's what we do best. The next day we woke up at 5am because Yan Rau was an early riser and we decided to use the WiFi that time.Headed on to get our breakfast and changed into our formal attire.Were taking pictures around the courtyard. We got into the bus and our first stop was the Malaysian Embassy. We were greeted by a number of Malaysian officials and by our Malaysian Ambassador, Datuk Jamaluddin Jarjis himself. He gave us a speech saying that while this is a great experience, we should always remember where we cam from and that we should show them what Malaysia is all about. He also said that we would probably be nervous and a little frightened right now but once we meet again after 6 months, it'll be like we became this whole new person with a broder mindset and perspective of the world. And what he said was definitely true. After that. we were feasted with nasi lemak, probably the last Malaysian dish we get to have for the next 6 months.And though I prefer our "true" Malaysian nasi lemak, I was in no position to complain. After the visit to the Malaysian Embassy, we headed on to the Union Station for a little Budgeting Exercise. Being away from your parents can also mean no supervision = excessive spending. I doubt it will happen to me but you'll be surprised.So we were given $10 each and we were asked to buy a toiletry, a calling card and a souvenirs from DC. And we had absolutely no guide.Oh and we were given 1 hour. You would think that one hour is pretty long but let me tell you about Union Station.It's one of the oldest and busiest station in DC. The place is huge and there are shops everywhere.And we couldn't find any directory and so we decided to ask this nice and ~~good looking~~ policeman Yeap,these are the pictures I took of Union Station.Amazing isn't it? The thing is my external hard disk is being a little difficult these past few days and I'm gonna get it fixed.I shall continue my American adventure post on another day.

Dance Practise and Outing with Friends

Started the middle of the December month with dance practice with other students under the YES 2010 program.We will be preforming in Washington D.C during our end of stay camp along with the other countries.So,yeah...It's a BIG deal.And so,we began the training on the 18th of December right up to the 22nd December at Taman Budaya.Our beloved coach would be the brilliant Abang Wan.Honestly,when I saw him I thought he was born to dance.He was flawless,believe me,he really was.He knew all sorts of dance from all the genre,and that is really cool!Oh yeah,we learned Traditional dance...Hahaha...I know you people will be like gaping and going,

"Navee dances?!And I beg your pardon...traditional dance????I'm quite sure it was some other Navee!"

Sorry to burst your bubbles peeps,but it's really me and yes,I learned Malaysian tradtional dance.At first,I thought that it would be some kind of chore that I had to remember and to tell you the truth,I kinda dreaded on the day that the dance practise.Mind you,my co-ordination skills aren't the best in me.Anyway,we learned 3 songs throughout the practise and I had an AWESOME time with these people!I mean,they're the most amazing people whom you can talk and laugh with for the whole day.And yeah,I did pick up some cool dance moves.And I'll be wearing Baju Melayu Melaka,which is very lovely. Even managed to get a sunglasses from Petaling Street.Anyway,5 days ended rather quickly and we had a solemn goodbye,with a few people crying.We parted our ways,keeping in mind that we'll be meeting each other in less than 3 weeks time.Took pictures with some of them.I just wanted to thank Abang Wan for being such a patient and tolerant teacher and for teaching us all that we know now.We'll make you proud,Abang Wan! Christmas Eve outing
Went to Times Square and Mid Valley with Yi Ling and Kristin.Reached the train station around 9am and took the train to KL Sentral.Accidentally bought the 2-way tickets as we completely forgot about the fact that we were going to Mid Valley later.So,we reached KL Sentral and walked to the Monorail station.Took the monorail to Imbi station.It was my first ride in the monorail,btw :D Once we reached Times Square which was rather deserted as it was just opening the stores.We headed to the Cosmo World.Here's the weird thing about me and Times Square.I live in Kajang which is so near KL.I've only been to Times Square once and the only reason I went there was because my uncle came to collect some travel tickets he won.Other than that,me and Times Square have nothing in common.

Anyways,I paid 37 bucks for the entrance ticket and had an awesome time!The rides were awesome and the thrill I had while I was going on them was just a awesome awesome feeling.Hahaha...I absolutely loved the boat ride which went 360 degrees,and how I felt like I was going to just drop on the ground.The roller-caoster was ok too,though the Scooby Doo ride in Movieworld,Australia is still the BEST!The airplane ride was the first ride I took and it was a little scary but I quickly overcomed it and enjoyed :D Ate our lunch at Johnny's.It was my first time having steamboat.So,I enjoyed the new experience.Should keep it mind that steamboat is kinda pricey.Wlaked around the mall and they had good bargains but there was this "No trying the clothes rule",which was annoying.Ended up not buying anything.We left at around 4pm after walking the whole floor looking for the Monorail exit.Then,we went back to KL Sentral and forgot to buy a ticket to Mid Valley.Instead,we went out to the platform using our Kajang tickets.Real swt right...=.= We had to ask the officer to allow us to bu a ticket to Mid Valley.Once we got the tickets,we got onto the train and headed for Mid Valley.

Upon reaching there,we wandered like aimless souls,bought pretzels and illegally sat and ate it in McD.And we sat right in front of the counter...What an awesome way to get caught.Lol!Walked around and bought this Christmas hats which was so cute.Lol...And my flats snapped,so we had to like walk to Jusco and bought slippers.Lol...Btw,Yi Ling's base converse also came out.I guess our shoes were jinxed or smt.We wore the Christmas hats around the mall,occasionally getting stares from passer-bys.Our legs were hurting that we didnt have any hope on getting to our dinner.

Ended up in Popeye's.This always happen when we go out.We NEVER decide on wear to eat and ALWAYS end up in the lamest place.Popeye's is exactly same like KFC...The only difference is that Popeye's from Louisiana.And KFC tastes better :D Btw,I found out that the only 2 recipes which is in the Swiss Bank is Kentucky Fried Chicken and Coca-Cola...No wonder I love Coke so much...Hahaha So we bought our tickets to Kajang and there wer SO MANY people waiting for the train.After 20 minutes waiting for the lame train,we couldnt even get in the train.People were pushing and suddenly the door just shut.We were just standing and watching from behind as we realised that there was no way to get in.It was cannibalistic,I tell you.We managed to get into the 2nd train,almost leaving Yi Ling behind.There was no place left and we had to practically pull her in.Anyways,I had so much fun that day except for the fact that my mum turned into a lioness when she found out that I went on those rides and the horrid flu. Trip To Melaka

This trip was actually days before SPM.To be specific,it was the weekend before SPM.It wasn't supposed to be a fun trip...I mean,we were just going to visit one of the temples over there.So,we headed to Melaka at 7am...I took my books and started reading in the car but feel asleep after an hour reading.I woke up at 4am that day k...So,it isn't my fault that my brain is exhausted.Hahaha...

Anyways,reached Melaka around 9 something.It wasn't easy to find the temple as it was situated within the rubber estate and we had to like go slowly as it was a one way road. Once we reached the temple,we headed to the temple to pray and meet the priest.However,they told us that we could only meet the priest at 3pm...We were like kinda surprised as it was our first time going to this temple.It seems around 120 people had already sort of taken a number to meet him.Everyday,about 100 people meets him and ask him questions and such...Anyway,we decided to come back later.

We went to the nearest Indian restaurant and decided to have our breakfast.And then,we decided to go to Taman Rama-Rama...How else could we kill the time?And boy,did I feel guilty...I mean like I'm not completely trough with my Sejarah and I'm out to spend time with butterflies...Hahaha...So we went there and we saw like 3 school buses filled with school kids doing a school trip.Lucky them...Hahaha...The entrance fee was quite cheap considering it's a popular tourist spot. We saw this few species of birds such as the black parrot and lovebirds...According to my aunt,the birds must always be in pair(male and female) or they will die...Out of loneliness I guess.Which is very sweet...Then we saw all kinds of lizards.Their eyes are just so evil and creepy as the look at you...Its like their waiting for their prey and it is really disturbing...Lol

Yeap,I know the movie was out long long time ago but I could only see it now...Don't blame me,blame SPM.lol...Anyway,went out with Yi Ling, Chiau Ling and her sister.Was just in time for the 6.30 show...Quickly bought the snacks and headed for the cinema.And the movie was good

I give it 7/10 stars.It's truly the mother of all disaster movie.Awesome effects and it did send some powerful message to us.I mean like the Apocalypse is bound to happen whether we like it or not.It's matter of whether the human species can evolve and continue its species and adapt to the new circumstances.And the movie did have some facts....like the Yellowstone volcano,the reversal of the Earth's magnetic pole as well as the solar waves from the Sun.These are all probabilities of what might cause the Earth to be in jeopardy.

However,the movie did have its laugh...John Cusack's dialgues were funny.But the movie did have its sad moments...It didn't exactly made me cry...but I was like really sad at certain parts...Where people had to say goodbye to their families while staring at death itself.My sister cries so much.Seriously,she did cry a lot.I was like so shocked...I mean,she actually told me,"Chechi,earthquakes are so cool!I wanna go and see how its like!!!"Silly isn't it?One of the most appealing quotes in the movie was

SPM is finally over!A sense of relief washed through me as the struggle is over,proud of myself,as I managed to do my best and a wave of sadness as I no longer can walk the hallways of Convent Kajang as a student and I can no longer sit in the class and have the time of my life with my friends.Why does it have to end?I keep asking myself again and again but I couldn't find the answer.All I can say to console myself is that life hold much more promising things in the future and I have to let go of the treasures that I have now.

There's a whole new life waiting for me in the other side of the world and I want to live it to the fullest.No more hesitance and I will not let my doubts stray me away from playing the game.Things may not be easy and I have to make necessary changes and sacrifices but I know for a fact that it will be all worthwhile.These are not coincidence.It's an opportunity that came into my life to mold me into someone better.I shall grasp it and make my way to the top.
Anyway,I would like to recap on the 10 days that I had to sit for my SPM papers.SPM is a unique experience.It seriously is.SPM pushed to the limits that I never that I could reach.It made me do things that I thought was beyond my willpower.It made me stronger mentally and emotionally.It gave me the confidence that I could achieve anything in the world.I'm not saying that SPM is easy.It's just that you can't keep looking at the bad side of things all the time.For 2 years,we have learned all the things that we had to know and now it was up to that one test to prove our capabilities.I realized that it was a ticket to my future,A ticket to be a neurologist,something that I had always wanted to be since I could ever remember.My parents had always plays a great importance on education.My dad would always remind to,"

Never compromise in my studies.

"He made it clear that the only way that I could climb the ladder of life was through education.And I have always hold on to that one principle throughout my schooling years.

I have always thought about SPM since I was in primary school.And now,as I think about SPM on the 17th,I realized that THIS WAS IT.It was now or never.I am holding the key to my future.It's all up to me.And it's my time to shine...With that,I entered the exam hall,feeling every sort of emotions that was there-determination,fear,joy,pride and even hesitance.I had asked forgiveness from my parents,grandparents,and all my teachers.And I knew that their blessings were with me and my faith towards God was stronger than ever.

Day 1
-The first day was a little nerve racking.I mean,this whole new atmosphere with new invigilators.But my invigilators were quite nice.Just that our class had extra 2 more teachers as they were the Head and Assistant Invigilators.The first paper was BM 1 and I choose global warming.Like obviously I would choose that,being a environmentalist myself...Lol...Anyway,when I looked through the other questions,I was like Andrew Choo's tips were so UN-Reliable.I mean like even I could spot better questions.and many other tips were unreliable as well.SPM is unpredictable.The only thing you can count on is your own brainpower and revision.The next paper was Sejarah 1.It was another paper I was worried as at times I felt that,what if I didn't read enough?All the what-if questions start flooding in.Hahaha...But the paper was ok.Followed by BM Paper 2,which was ok as well.The peribahasa was a little tricky but it was do-able.Went home at 4.30pm and with great fear for the next day ahead.

Day 2
-The first paper was English 1.The first essay was all right I guess.And for the second essay I choose My favourite day of the week.Believe me,If you read my essay,you would have just laughed you head off and said,"I didn't know Navee could write those poetry language for an essay!"I tend to write a lot of factual essay,but yeah this was kinda fun as it allowed my imagination to flow and I could write my heart out.The next paper was English 2,which was all right as well.I didn't why they would give such a long time for that paper.Half of the class were sleeping.Lol...After lunch came the killer paper,Sejarah 2!Yea,it gave me the creeps.I was so scared before that paper.Believe me,I've never felt that afraid before.and I was asking Kristin to calm down...Hahaha...and you could hear people going hysterical before the paper.Take me for an instance,me and Ngai just burst into fits of laughter right before the paper.We were INSANE.At the rate my heart was beating,I thought I would have forgotten all the facts in my head.But thank GOD,the paper was actually not bad.Then I realized..."The graph's gonna go down."Nevertheless,I did my best.

Day 3
-EST Papers.The subject which you couldn't really study for and a very very risky paper.I did expect the paper to be hard or easy as anything could come out.The Information Transfer was quite tricky and the essay was Friction.Which was a very peculiar topic to be asked for an EST paper.All this while,the questions were general and most students had plenty of points to elaborate.But this topic was rather tough.However,I managed to think up a few points and elaborated it long enough.I mean,we didn't really learned on friction in Physics for SPM.So that was the EST paper of 2009.

Day 4
-It was a Monday and both the papers were Maths.The paper was ok.It was the normal SPM format but Paper 1 was quite tricky which was reasonable as Maths usually is a relatively easy subject to score for most students.I could remember that the Bearing question was quite hard.Spend a long time checking and re-checking that question.

Day 5
-Moral was the paper of the day.Spend about half an hour listening Pn.Kala's ways of answering Moral questions on a Tamil radio channel.Decided to follow the usual and safer way of writing the essay answer.Read up all the nilai and definisi by making my sister to ask me the definisi for all the nilai randomly.Memorized the akta and badan kerajaan and all the issues and topics in the text book.However,None of the akta came out for this year.and at least 6 marks from each subjective question was allocated for KBKK questions,which was good in a way.Managed to answer all the questions and elaborated on my answer as well as I could.

Day 6
-The day which I was really looking forward too,which was Add Maths.My mum on the other hand was so worried about the paper.When I see her worrying,I get freaked out.Nevertheless,I did all the trial papers and remembered what Pn.Rohana and Madam Sim had taught me and did my Add Maths 1.The paper was do-able.It wasn't tricky.But I couldn't say the same for the 2nd paper.The moment I saw the G.P question,I knew that people were going to come out of the exam hall moaning and groaning saying how tough was the paper.As for me,I did everything as how I was taught,did not allow myself to panic and remained calm throughout the exam.Didn't like my crosses for my answers,but what could I do as liquid papers are not allowed.Overall,the papers were ok.

Day 7
-After a long 4 day break,we had Bio paper.I had certain expectation on which topic would come out for essay but only 2 of the topics that I spotted came ot.So,I did the inheritance question and the nitrogen cycle question.The subjective part was ok EXCEPT for the human breathing mechanism question.The figure was so DECEIVING.Yes,deceiving.I was fuming when I found out that my answer was wrong.I lost 3 marks!3 marks!!!!I would have screamed if this was a normal exam.The worst part is I wasn't the only one who got it wrong.Paper 1 was ok.Paper 3 was...unexpected.The same 2007 question came out for Ques 1.Same experiment but different way of measuring the rate of photosynthesis.The designing experiment question was how temperature affects rate of enzymatic reaction.It had a long procedure but I managed to finish on time.After the paper,I cam out and declared that those people did not know how to set the questions.Hahaha...and many did agree with me.If you need a helping hand in setting future SPM questions,do ring me up.I'd be happy to help.:D

Day 8
-This was one of the nerveracking day as well.Accounts and Literature combined on the same day!I looked through all the trial papers,redid my trial paper as PPD Accounts was very hard compared to the rest.The Accounts 1 was quite ok but I had 2 mistakes which was very very annoying as the 2 questions were quite simple.Then came Accounts 2...I can declare it to be the hardest paper for SPM.Seriously,the question 2 was just unbeliaveble!I had to write down all the jalan kerja in the rough paper provided just so that I won't miss any of the working.And my question 2 was balanced!Lol...surprisingly,my realisasi wasn't balanced and Realisasi was one of the questions which I usually get it right.Because of that pemiutang thing...I couldn't balance my Akaun Bank...But I think I would have lost 2 marks there.Moving on,the next question was the volum pengeluaran question which can be done.The graph...well,I just did it how I recalled from the textbook.The Section B was quite tough.I did pelupusan mesin question.I think I might have lost 2 marks there as well...didn't put it the pemiutang within the Akaun Kenderaan.Nevertheless,everyone said the paper was tough.Some didn't even have time.Accounts paper has been getting harder year by year...so,all those juniors...you better buck up:D...Literature was the next paper.The paper was all right la.I mean the questions are doable but it depends how well you could convince the examiner and argue your points well.There is no right or wrong in Literature.It's a very subjective paper in which you have to think critically and learn how to debate your views.The poem question was ok.Luckily,teacher taught me the Ways of Love poem after trials.It was sense of deja vu as it was the exact poem I asked teacher to re-explain...as I did not really like the poem.Anyways,I did my best and I wrote every single thing I could think up.Time was a constrain for this paper but I managed to finish it.

-Physics!Hahaha...A subject which I really enjoy as it makes you think and it's such an interesting subject that nakes you ponder why is it this way and why can't it be the other way.I was a little scared,naturally as you cannot predict what would come out for the Essay section.Paper 1 was ok.I think I had 4 mistakes...and I went home screaming when I found out.Yes,I'm paranoid.Lol...Paper 2 was...I hate to say this but...it was relatively ok.and that means the graph will go up.I did 2 questions for Section B as I was worried that I might not get good marks for the hydraulic question.True enough I lost like 3 marks for the vaccum cleaner question.Thankfully,my Radoactivity question was all right.Section C I choose the thermos flask.I quickly remembered the old thermal flask I had at home and it helped me in choosing the most suitable flask.Paper 3 was all right.The experiment was electromagnet...just like trials...So,it was fine.

Day 10
-The last day of SPM!The day in which all the candidates have been waiting for.Gosh...I was thinking on what I would do after the paper.Hahaha...that's the only tought that keeps me studying.The paper was Chemistry.Basically,paper 1 was ok but got 3 wrongs which is very very irritating.Paper 2 was ok as well just that the essay wasn't what I spotted.In the end,I did the electrolysis question and the Salt question.I did not know if my calculation was correct and for the brown ring test I placed hydrocholric acid instead of sulphuric acid...I was like soooo....argh!Nevermind...the paper 3 was ok...I mean when I saw the concentration and pH question,I was like is this some kind of trick?Or is it too good to be true.Nevertheless,I did all I knew and waited to for the clock to strike 3.30pm.We finished a little later as Yung was still tying her paper.Lol...I guess she just wanted to savour the last moments of SPM.Hahaha...After that,I was like so happy and I could not stop grinning!I mean,"I'm finally free!After 11 years of schooling...I'm about to enter a whole new world."It's an overwhelming feeling but I'm proud of myself for being able complete my schooling life and I was happy.

Graduation Day 2009

It's time of the year again... Form 5 students unofficially graduating from high school life.We'll be off to a whole new world,bringing on everything we learned from our 11 years of schooling life.Being in high school taught me many things.Being in Convent actually made me the way I am today.When I entered high school,I had my doubts and my uncertainties.Pressure to do well in my exams,to be accepted, and to succeed.As you go through the 5 years of being in high school,here I am today ready to take on my final challenge.All that I have learned will be put to test with that challenge.After that.we'll all say our goodbyes and take on our separate ways.One thing is for sure,I'll never forget Convent and the people that I've met there.

Dear teachers,
you will always remain close to my heart.Thank you for everything that you have taught me.I owe everything to you and I'll do my best to make you proud.I'm really sorry if I made any mistakes.

To my friends, Words cannot describe how much I'm gonna miss you guys.You guys made a huge impact on my life and I'm just gonna miss all the times we had together.All the laughter,the smiles,the tears,I'll remember them all.I just hope that we'll never forget each other.All I can say is that I'm really thankful to have friends like you guys and I'll cherish all our memories. No matter what,I'll always be proud to call myself a Convent Kajang student.

-The Ceremony-
Woke up at 6 to get ready and tie my saree.Luckily,my mum still remembered how to tie it although she hasn't tied for like a few years...Lol...So,yeah...She's been longing to doll me up for quite some time and now when she gets the chance,she really did a wonderful job.Love you Mum!I reached school kinda late because of the saree.Took my robes and wore it.I was quite nervous.I was supposed to deliver a speech(A special thanks to Rachael,Yi Ling,Kristin,Kalai,Fion,Syuha and Hazirah for the ideas and translation).We got bags from INTI college.We took some photographs as well.Then we were seated according to alphabetical order.then came time for my speech.I managed to deliver it!Hahaha... Then I had to lead the Student's Pledge in which I had to say,

Saya Naveeshini Nair dari 5 Berlian and so on.The weird thing is some people who I assume wasn't with us during that time followed me by saying my name!Lol... Then,an invited guest gave us sort of a motivational speech which I think did make think about some things.What she said was quite true.One thing that Ngai remembered from that long speech was "Symbol of Success" ROFL! Then was the scroll giving ceremony.After that,we took more pics.Gave back the ever-so-precious robes to the teachers.Took more pics.Hahaha...Got on the bus to Equatorial Hotel,Bangi.Luckily Kalai went there earlier and managed to save us seats.I couldn't stop staring at the chocolate fountain.Lol...And I ate all I can!The lasagna was superb...It was too cheesy though.Had satay,some Indian delicacies,some finger food,add a bit of smoked salmon but didn't like it.Ate a little tandoori fish which wasn't that good.Yes,I'm picky.

Kalai asked the waiter if they had orange juice by waving the knife with her hand.I guess he was freaked out and quickly said no...Hahaha..."Thriller movie in Equatorial".I think I ate about 4 rounds.Hahaha...Ignored the warning form my mum on not eating a lot.Eating too much while wearing a saree is not easy.Believe me... I'm sure some of you guys may be wondering what this title means.It's actually the title of the latest Tamil movie and it means "Someone Like You".Different from other Tamil movies,whereby there is at least 5-6 songs and the movie goes for as long as 3 hours,this movie has got no songs except for the background music and the movie is only 2 hours.Also there is no heroine.The movie is actually 18-PL.Luckily the guy who sold us a ticket was actually very nice and said it was okay for us to watch the movies.Lol...

Anyway,the movie is actually about this commoner(Kamal Hassan) who placed 5 bags containing bombs in 5 different areas in the city.He then heads to the local police station,pretending to be someone who lost his wallet and was there to write his complaint.He then heads on to the toilet and place another bag containing the similar but less powerful bomb in the toilet.He then goes to this old building which is still under construction and goes to the top of the building.He sets up his laptop and his phone and all kinds of gadget which were quite unfamiliar.He has a few different SIM cards which belonged to people who are no longer alive.He's quite good with technology.He then makes a call to the Commissioner of Police-Mr.Maraa(Mohanlal) saying that he has placed bombs in the city and says that he also placed a bomb in the police station.Maara realises that this was a real threat and immediately alerts the Chief Minister.The CM gives him full power to attend to this threat and act as the spokesperson between the state government and the commoner.The commoner then says that he wants 4 of India's most wanted terrorist who were currently undergoing their prison sentence in India's most highly guarded prison.This sparked controversies as these 4 notorious terrorist killed many people when they were free.However,in the end Mr.Maara agrees to send the terrorists to a specific place as ordered by the commoner and only allows 2 police officer to escort the 4 terrorist.Once reaching that place,the commoner then instructs the terrorist to get into a Jeep parked there and drive away.One of the 2 policemen,Ariff Khan didn't want to let one of the terrorist escape.When the other 3 terrorists turned on the engine,the whole Jeep exploded leaving those 3 people in ashes.Shocked,the policemen realises that this was the agenda all along.The commoner feels that he achieved something the police department couldn't do for many many years.When he instruct the last terrorist alive to be shot,Mr.Maara argues and he snaps him by saying that,

"Terrorism is instant,why not justice?"

He gives his reason of why he actually plotted this agenda.The last terrorist was then shot alive.He then reveals that he never planted the 5 bombs.Mr.Maraa resigned the next day,feeling that the commoner had done something he couldn't do for the past 41 years as a police officer.

This movie was brilliantly filmed with the aid of technology and only to send out one message.A message to say that we are all fighting against one thing.Everyone my have a different perception on this movie,but for me what the commoner did was right.He may have caused havoc and caused a life to be lost,which is against the law but what he did was right in the name of justice.

After all, law and justice isn't the same.

To that someone,
I thought I knew you.You were one of a kind.I could sense your empathy.I could feel your genuine desire to help others.I always knew you were loyal.But how could you do this?I thought you would never go through that path anymore.I thought from now on,you would be honest.How could lie in the name of glory?Do you even feel happy?Do you even feel proud of yourself?You may think that it don't matter now but your action has consequences.When you approached me,when you said that you realised that what you did was wrong,I couldn't do anything.All I could say was "Why?"...Why didn't you stop yourself before you committed that mistake.You didn't only lie to me but to yourself as well.You're a person with many talents...you'll do great things,I'm sure of that...but what happened to you to the extent you could do something like this to get what you want?Didn't you realise what you did was wrong?Didn't you know how many people will be disappointed with you?Will you ever forgive yourself?I don't know the answers to these questions.Only time will tell.

The Past On Rewind

Hey guys!
Finally I'm back...Trials are over with my last paper being Literature in English...which made me write 4 WHOLE pages.My hand seriously felt like breaking.
Let's see...what have I not blogged about since the last post?

1st update
-I was shortlisted for the YES camp in Petaling Jaya with 80 other students from all over Malaysia.This camp was organised by AFS Malaysia and we stayed in a hotel.Don't blame me for calling a hotel a "camp".xD
I learned a lot there and did my interview and gave it my all.I was rather nervous as it was 3 interviewers with me in the room.This people are highly profiled people who had many years experience in picking the most suitable candidates for this program.Thus,I did do my homework and all.My interview was on the 9th and I was one of the last ones.Besides that,I made a lot of friends and it was definitely an amazing experience with all these lovely people.Before we left camp,we were told that our results will be arriving through the mail in a month's time.Believe me,I never stopped thinking bout the camp and about when my letter would be arriving.When I first heard a few participants got their letters,I instantly went on a panic attack.It was during the holidays and it the holidays were supposed to be strictly for studying and nothing else.However,I couldn't think about anything else but the letter.I had to watch movies to divert my attention.Finally,I received my letter on the 27th August.When I saw the large envelopeaddressed to me with AFS mark on top of it,I knew I got what I want.When I opened it and saw the word "CONGRATULATIONS",I was absolutely delighted.Only pure joy filled me and I truly thank God for this wonderful blessing.This 6 months away will definitely change my life in many ways and I'm certainly looking forward to that experience

2nd Update
-Supernatural Season 5 was aired on 9th September 2009.The Winchester boys are back with Lucifer being set free and the angels and demons are preparing for the Apocalypse Battle.The greatest,most fearsome battle on the face of Earth.Dean was chosen as Michael's vessel.Michael is an archangel,Heaven's most terrified weapon and fearsome angels.He was the one who banished Lucifer the last time.However,Dean refuses being the vessel as he knew this battle was going to kill at least half of the human population.Meanwhile,Sam finds out that he is Lucifer's true vessel.So far,I only watched until Episode 5 and the show is absolutely awesome.

3rd update
The -I just finished reading "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" series.These are one of my few highest rated book.Since I am find Greek Mythology very very interesting(My future plans include visiting the Greek gods' and goddesses' sacred temples).The author,Rick Riordan managed to flawlessly portray each and every God and even the Gods here are a little flawed.I mean,Zeus and Hera going for marriage counselling?And Poseidon wearing Hawaiian T-shirt?What about Hades has assistants in to manage traffic in the Underworld ?
Wacky but that's what make these books so interesting.The demigods here are awesome as well.Olympus used to be in Mount Olympus right?But now Olympus is on the top of the Empire States building.The antagonist would still be The Titans and Kronos is rising from his lair and the final battle would be in the last book.Overall,I love this series so much and I definitely recommend you guys to read these books.The movie is set to come out on February 2010.

it.Thanks for the presents as well.Thanks to Mum and Dad for the awesome chocolate cake.I adored the word "Princess" on my cake,though Princess isn't the best word to describe me.Hahaha...I had a really awesome one.Thanks for all the wishes everyone.I really appreciate it.
Anyways,I took some cake for my classmates and I was greeted by a Happy Birthday song!The best thing about it is that they were all SMILING.Mind you,it's not easy to see smiley faces of 5 Berlian students early in the morning.I got 2 birthday songs in fact...Hahaha.Thank you so much for the love and wishes.It really made me so happy and warm and fuzzy all over my heart.Not to mention,the delicious chocolate cake made me smile for the whole day =)
I got the last Percy Jackson book from my parents and I was practically screaming.Thank youuuu so much Acah and Amma.Really loved the book.Basically,I just feel blessed and happy and I would like to thank God for this wonderful life that He gave me.I just want to cherish everything in my life and live life to the fullest.

Retirement Day

This post was supposed to be posted last week but I had no time...sorry! Yes...The day which all the senior prefects are waiting for is finally here.A time where we can let go of the burden such as taking care of our respective classes,recess duties,gate duties,giving out slips and getting glared at all the time and spot checks. I guess for me,I feel both relieved and sad.Relieved because I get to concentrate on my studies and get to enjoy my last year in school.Sad because being a prefect has been part of my secondary school life for 5 years.Recess time will often be filled with duties and such.Letting go the duty of being a prefect makes me realise that my time to leave school is nearing.Every single day counts and it hurts me a lot to know that I will no longer be going back to school.

I still remember the time when I got the Head Prefect post.I was thrilled.I remember the feeling when I heard my name being called out.I also remember being a little afraid.What if I couldn't do my duty well enough?What if I disappoint those who had faith in me?What if this wasn't for me to fulfill?But I thank God for giving me the strength and confidence for me to fulfil my duty.I know I have done my very best to serve the Prefectorial Board,teachers and the school.There were times were I felt as if things was terrible...but luckily there were people who encouraged me and kept me going. I owe my gratitude to Pn.Nirmala for the guidance,advice and teachings that you gave me.Thank you for having faith in me and believing in me.

To the AJK's of 2008/2009... Thank you for being such awesome AJK's.I would like to apologise if I ever hurt your feelings by demanding or scolding or offending you guys.You did your jobs really well and I think you guys were brilliant.Thank you for the dedication,commitment and support.It wasn't always easy but you guys were the best.

To all the prefects.... Thank you so so much for co-operating with us throughout the 1 year.I would like to sincerely apologise if I ever scolded you or if I offended you in any way.To the prefects who were trained under us,we are really truly sorry if we treated you guys badly or hurt you feelings.Please continue to serve the Prefectorial Board with full commitment.A heartfelt thanks for all your contributions.Thank you for all the wishes and I wish you all the best in all your upcoming exams.

Half Blood Prince and Mighty Minds Challenge

I'm so very sorry for not updating my blog...You see,I'm not exactly a free bird this few days.Hahaha...

Anyway,I went to watch Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince on the 18th...It was a rather sudden decision as I was not free on Sunday and I will not be free next week.So,I quickly called my mum and she bought 2 tickets for the 9pm show in Metro.At first I thought this movie was not going to be that good as the book was pretty boring.It was more like the opening act for the finale of the Harry Potter saga.But the movie was awesome!A definite thumbs up people!I mean this is the BEST movie among the rest.I also like Sorcerer's Stone and The Chamber of Secrets too!Anyway,I really didn't expect it to be this good!I especially adored Ron Weasley!He was sooooo funny and I COULD NOT stop laughing when he is doing scenes with Lavender Brown :)...

Ginny and Harry wasn't that romantic, I felt...but Ginny was really protective over him.That was really really sweet.Malfoy was awesome too...For the first time,you could see his dark side and you could see that he is really messed up.The whole movie was like Apocalypse is coming soon and it's just a matter of time that we turn into dust.That effect really sunk into my head.I was a little disappointed as I wanted to see Charlie and Bill really badly and they did miss a few parts but overall I think David Yates covered the book really well.
Tom Riddle was really really scary when he was young.There was something about him that gives me the chills.And Bellatrix's laugh just makes my heart jump all the time.There was also 1 part where everyone in the cinema gasped...You gotta watch it to find out ;)

The final part was really heartbreaking...I cried when Dumbledore died.But the scene that really mad an impact was when Dumbledore died,every single person surrounding him raised the illuminated wand to the sky and the Dark Mark from the sky slowly disappeared and the light of good shines ever so brightly.In a way,it symbolises hope.For me,it conveys a message that though dark forces seem to be winning and taking control of everything around you,you can overcome it with strong faith within your heart.

So,this movie is definitely a must watch for all Harry Potter fans out there.After trials,I'm definitely gonna re-re-read all the Harry Potter books...I miss all the magic...

The next day,I had to go for the Mighty Minds Challenge organised by RHB Bank and The Star at Sunway Pyramid.I woke up at 7am and I was like soooooo tired.Mind you,I came back late from the movie and I was dreaming about magic the whole time.So,me,Maggie and Sze Min headed for Sunway Pyramid at 8am.My dad took us there and he had a little trouble finding the place but we managed to reach there on time.We registered and took our places.We were briefed on how to use the gadget provided to answer 20 questions.The questions were moderately hard and we got 5 mistakes.We didn't get through...Yeap,I was disappointed but I guess it wasn't meant to be.We could have gotten inside as we were all on a tie but they looked at the speed of the contestants...So,we got the 20th place among 56 teams in the 1st Category... :(
Anyway,it was a good experience...and thanks to Pn.Lily for being there for us :)
Before I leave I would like to say something to a person who is dear to me..

To that person,
It's time to you let go of all the hatred and exasperation.You need not to suffer inside all this all the hatred you have against 1 person.There are so many joy in the world that you need to experience,so many friends you need to gain and much more experience tat you should discover.I know it's hard...and yes,I don't know how you feel inside because I was not hurt like you were...but I see the pain you go through.I know how much you try to put up a smile just so that we;ll think you're okay...but I know better...It's not real.I don't know what to say or do so that you'll feel better.I really don't.I can only say that I'm willing to support you and pray that you return to be yourself once more.Please don't live on false hope.You can't bring what you want back to you.It's too late.It's far too late.I'm sorry to say this,I truly am...but please do not hurt yourself anymore.

A Tribute To Michael Jackson

Sorry for the late update...Had a really long and tiring week.Got back all my results and it was SUCKISH...Yes,I am never satisfied...but this time it was really bad and I very much know why.1 week studying before a mid year exam is the culprit of my horrid marks.Anyway,I've told my parents to embrace for the worst on Report Card day.
And on Friday, 26th June 2009...I had one of the biggest shock of my life.Michael Jackson passed away...When I heard that,I couldn't seem to believe it.It must have been some kind of sick joke.But no,it was true.MJ really passed away. I grew up listening to your songs and you are a singer like no other.Though his music still lives on,it's just hard to accept a person so great is gone.Songs like Billie Jean,Beat It,Smooth Criminal,Black or White,You Are Not Alone are masterpieces of a musical genius.Your legacy will live on and you will NEVER be forgotten.

R.I.P Michael...."A Legend Never Dies"

And I went to watch Transformers 2:Revenge of The Fallen...And It was AWESOME!!!!!
I was like whoa-ing the whole time in the cinema and I was literally on the edge of my seat.I was like this little excited kid who was just pointing and ogling at those gigantic robots.But the movie was just...Brilliant!I mean...It's Transformers...you should be able to get the picture of how cool it is...xD.In a way,I felt inspired after watching this movie.Don't ask me why...I just feel that way.I especially thought the part Optimus became stronger was extremely cool!And also the part where the tiger Robot came and pounced the All Spark piece, and also the formation of the Devastator!Lol...I love love love this movie!

Transformers RULE!!!!!

The next day was Parent Teacher Day...Prefect's stall sold spaghetti carbonara as well as can drinks.The spaghetti sold out super fast cuz the sauce was super delicious!And we sold about 200 cans on that day...which wasn't something we expected!Anyway,a HUGE THANK YOU goes to all the prefects who donated the can drinks and Alia and Anis's mum for the delicious spaghetti.Thanks to you guys, our funds went up kinda a lot.And yeah...the parent-teacher meeting...I don't wanna talk about it.I admit all the things there and I promise it will be over soon.It is hard to let go but I will have to do it for them and for myself.I really enjoyed myself yesterday although I was like so tired.I didn't take any pictures as I was kinds busy...

Supernatural Season 4 rocks!!!!

As you can see from the title of my post...Supernatural is the BEST show ever created!!!!!I just finished watching Season 4 and it ended brilliantly....Well,this show is about 2 brothers (Sam and Dean) who are hunters that hunt for the supernatural beings such as vampires,Bloody Mary,ghouls,and most importantly demons.Their mum was killed by a yellow-eyed demon when Sam just a baby.From then on,Sam's dad begin hunting for these beings setting on a quest to kill the demon that killed his wife.Ultimately,when Sam and Dean grew up they learned how to hut just like their father as their lives were constantly in danger.They continued their father's profession as a hunter and at the end of Season 1,the three of them were reunited.However,the yellow eyed demon caused them to have an accident which leaves them wounded.

In Season 2,Dean was dead and so his father traded his soul with a demon in exchange for his soul and Dean survives.Then,they discovered that Samwas infected with Demon blood which makes Sam able to develop his physic abilities by the yellow eyed demon who was . He also did this to other children, on a night six months after their birth. In part one of the season finale, The Demon gathered all the special children in a deserted town to fight until one remains. Sam would be killed by another special child, but would be resurrected when Dean sold his soul. Azazel(yellow eyed demon) is killed, but not until his plans are completed and a door to Hell (the 'Devil's Gate') opened momentarily, releasing several demons.

In Season 3,the plot of the show focuses on trying to save Dean from his deal. Along the way, they meet a demon named Ruby, who has an interest in Sam and claims to be able to help save Dean. Also, they meet Bela Talbot, an "acquirer" and seller of occult objects who is constantly a thorn in their side. The brothers eventually manage to track down the demon who holds Dean's contract, a powerhouse named Lilith who also wants Sam dead. However, Sam and Ruby ultimately fail to save Dean, who is killed and sent to Hell.

In Season 4,Season Four begins with Dean awakening dazed and confused in a grave, having been rescued by an angel named Castiel on orders from God. Sam has further developed his abilities with the help of Ruby during the months that Dean has been dead. It is soon revealed that Dean was revived to help stop Lilith's plan of breaking the 66 seals, which would let Lucifer walk free once again. In the season finale Sam kills Lilith, but her murder is the final seal. The angels also wanted the seals to be broken, because when Dean defeats Lucifer, they can usher in paradise on Earth. Ruby is revealed to be manipulating Sam since her first episode, and Dean kills her in revenge. With Sam having killed Lilith, and ultimately breaking the final seal, Lucifer is now free.
And that is how they ended the Season!!!!It was awesome I tell you...My favourite character is Castiel...I don't know why but I think he is so good-looking...Here are few screenshots

This is definitely a must watch series for all...I'm anticipating Season 5 which will be aired on September 2009...Lucifer is free...God...I really wonder what will happen?

Class Trip to "Science Fair" in Putrajaya

Yesterday,my whole class went for a Science Trip in Putrajaya.It was organised by the Ministry of Science and Technology.So,to start of our trip...The bus came late!Freaking 1 hour late...That was still acceptable as I was re-re-re-reading Breaking Dawn...well,the interesting parts only *smirks*
And so the bus came and few of us didn't have places to sit!So...I had to share seats with Janani and Tara and here's the worst part...The had the karaoke on and the put Malay songs which was just horrible!!!I mean how can you on the karaoke while me and Ngai were on the bus and not put us some English songs?And so we reached that place and those people there directed us to take food and we were told to go into the hall.
When we entered...we saw a whole bunch of Form 6 High School students...and we got like the behind seats and the speaker came and guess what he talked about?"REMOTE SENSING IN MALAYSIA"...Oh brother...I wanted to sleep that exact moment...and he went on and on about satellites and Malaysia and MEASAT and many more things that I do not remember.Kalai was taking down notes as she was overly excited to answer the upcoming questions.So,you can ask her if you wanna know about remote sensing.
Oh yeah...There is this satellite from USA called the"LANDSAT"...but Kalai calls is "LANGSAT".Smart her...Anyway,when we thought the speech was over...another speech came up.I forgot what was the title...xD...All I know there is this S2S...Its the acronym for sea to space...not something else!And as I was extremely bored....I started taking pics

After that very "inspiring" speech about future career prospects in astronomy in Malaysia,We went to another building which supposed to be the exhibition room BUT it was amusingly small...with a few banners that proudly displays how brilliantly the Ministry's idea of inspiring and nurturing Young minds of Malaysians to be involved in the astronomy field, has worked.No wonder we're still 50 years behind modernisation.
Anyway,we had lunch there.We had chicken rice and I had absolutely no appetite to eat the rice...The chicken looked like it had been cooked yesterday and the vegetables looked like it was bought from the market a week ago.So,yeah...the food was horrid.But we were cackling like hyenas while we were eating, for no obvious reason...
The moment someone says "tomatoes" or "apples" or even "your chicken" the whole group of us just madly laughed...GoD...Including me xD...
Then we were wondering around the place...Taking pictures...Talking non-sense...Laughing maniacally. ~Too free till dunno what to do~

The bus came around 2 something and luckily I got a place to sit...Lol...Near the pintu kecemasan...=.=
And the bus wouldn't move...and we were like..."Someone go and push the bus!"

And we laughed like hooligans again...
And we continued laughing for jokes that isn't funny until we reached Kajang.Yeap...We are going nuts!;p
I was super tired...Slept around 2 hours before waking up to do my homework.And I thought about this...

Trip to Taiping,Perak

I came back from Taiping on Sunday but I didn't have any time to blog...
Well,me,my dad and my sister went to Taiping for a 3day 2nights stay in my grandaunt's house.The MAIN reason of the trip was to visit my brother who is currently "residing" there as my grandma is in North India...*lucky her* and since me and my sister are absolutely incapable of taking care of him...Lolz...Actually,half of the time I won't be at home,so I can't leave my brother alone.So,since my grandaunt loves him so much,she decided to take that fellow back home.The 4 hour journey made me very very restless...and since I had my camera...haha...I decided to take some pics...

Upon reaching,we were greeted by my brother's excited screams.Mind you...my brother is very attached to us...and my dad was like non-stop hugging and kissing him.*the youngest is the most pampered*...We had lunch there and the one thing that I love about them is they can cook!My granduncle and grandaunts are caterers and so they're cooking is just unbelievably delicious!Basically,I spent the day doing nothing.At night,we went to the Taiping Centre.It's a huge mall with everything there.It's really packed and the place is really cool.They set up this "Playland"at the centre of the complex and obviously these hyperactive children IMMEDIATELY could not resist but to spend RM 5 each person to indulge the so-called Disneyland of Taiping *rolls eyes*...Anyway,since I'm the eldest, the most responsible and of course most lovable one*coughs* was given the job to babysit 3 brats including my sister,my brother and my cousin.After that,we took a tour around the mall and the mall is perfect for those shopaholics as they've got practically everything here!

The next day,I got up super early to go jungle trekking at Bukit Larut.So,when me and my dad reached there there were quite many people there with the same purpose as us.And so we made our way into the jungle and the moment I saw how steep was the hill I was like OMG!!!!!It was like soooo steep but I just went up that hill.It was really tiring I tell you.There wasn't any support while you are climbing and you can't hold on to the trees as they are quite far from your reach.I almost slipped halfway but I didn't fall.And then I stopped and rested for a while and my dad was waiting impatiently for me to recover my exhaustion.He was like this lightning bolt and he was super fast climbing the hill.Now I wonder if he really went through the knee op.Lolz...Anyway,I decided to go down back and then there was this old man walking up as well.My dad was asking him
"Boss...Berapa lama lagi untuk sampai pondok?'
He looked at my dad and said,"Kalau ikut u punya style 15 minit la tapi kalau ikut dia punya style a.k.a tortoise walk *looks at me*,saya rasa 30 minit."
I looked at my dad and he just burst..."Even that old man said ur slow!"*rolls eyes*
So,we came down halfway and it was a really BAD idea.With my ankle that is ever so fragile,I was so afraid that I would fall any moment.I had to go one step by one step.In the end,I reached the bottom of the hill.And my dad started nagging about how important is it to start walking and all...Bummer...I was really disappointed *sigh*
